Project basis:
Thursday is a blessed day of the work week.
(The Kazakh people considered Thursday to be the middle of the work week)
Objective of the project:
Provide vocational guidance to students, familiarize with the work of a specialist who has achieved results in a particular area and get useful advice during a conversation.
Project goals:
· Implementation of career guidance;
· To teach how to formulate questions correctly, as well as to increase the culture of listening;
To instill the ability to appreciate the work of people

Result:
Formation of a generation that knows how to navigate when choosing a profession.

To educate an independent person who can be responsible for their own learning, able to analyze, use resources and technologies, and achieve goals.

Raise a younger generation that has independent thinking; become an active member of society, a member of the community; competitive, possessing truly patriotic qualities and high culture.

“Wikipedia” is one of the most popular resources on the Internet, which is one of the ten most visited sites in the world. This is a folk guide. In terms of the volume of information and thematic coverage, Wikipedia is considered the most complete encyclopedia ever created in the history of mankind. One of the main advantages of Wikipedia as a universal encyclopedia is the ability to present information in the user’s native language. The main feature of Wikipedia is that any Internet user can create and edit articles in it. All changes made by such volunteers are immediately visible to all visitors to the site.
Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools have joined a global project called Wikipedia and organized their own Wikipedia Club of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. Everyone knows that people from all over the world participate in filling out an extensive Internet encyclopedia and share their knowledge.
The founding of the Club is aimed at developing the skills of writing, editing articles in schoolchildren, involving them in creative work and scientific research in accordance with the principles of academic honesty and responsibility. Creating and editing articles on Wikipedia should be every child’s intellectual hobby, contributing to online literacy.

 

The purpose of the project: To encourage and present to the younger generation the work of young poets who are considered the successors of the great poets of the steppe, and are also popular among the Kazakh people.
Directions for the implementation of the project:
І direction: Expressive and memorized reading of the author’s works
ІІ direction: Theatrical performance. (Ideas about the life of the author and his work with the participation of all the students of shanyrak)
ІІІ direction: Creative period (students write an essay for 150-180 words)
IV direction: Illustrating the works of a popular author
V direction: Sing songs written to the author’s poems
VI direction: Conduct a challenge relay of the songs “Zamandastar zhyrlary”

VII direction: Literary analysis of the poet’s poems

Stages of project implementation:
• Conducting a relay challenge to memorize the author’s poems and create a video once a year for students in grades 7-9.
• Organization of a literary and musical creative meeting with a young poet once a year.
• Conducting competitions for expressive reading of the author’s poems among students in grades 7-9 every six months.
• Conducting competitions for illustrations for the works of the author and filming the final video once a year.
• Creation of theatrical performances based on the works of the author among shanyraks once a year.
• Organization of essay writing competitions of 100-150 words, the purpose of which is to analyze the author’s poems among students in grades 7-9 once a year.
• Conducting competitions for the performance of songs written based on the works of the author once a year.

According to the main normative documents: “Education Policy of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” and “Model Regulations on Social Practices and Projects”, and implements the school social project “Service to the Society”
Participation in this project makes it possible to solve important educational tasks:
1) creation of conditions for the development of spiritual, moral and creative qualities of the individual;
2) development of tolerance, mutual understanding between people with different worldviews;
3) fostering respect for the older generation and equal treatment of all people in society.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was concluded with a social facility: MCTE “Specialized Children’s Home” in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Thanks to this project, children gain social experience in real actions, develop as individuals with an active life position, a conscious attitude to public duty, service to society and their country.
Anyone can become a volunteer. All it takes is a great desire to help people. The principle by which volunteers work is one – the project must be socially significant, useful to society.

The purpose of the project: Sreading the proverbs and sayings, which are a valuable treasure that was sent to us by our ancestors. Replenishment of vocabulary, raise the status of the native language, promotion of national values ​​and the use of proverbs in everyday life.
Proverbs and sayings:
– Valuable folk heritage, formed from time immemorial and sent from generation to generation;
– Weaving words with special skill;
-The concept of thought and wisdom of the nation with the help of proverbs and sayings,

Proverbs and sayings, while maintaining their brevity, convey a deep meaning and have a wide content.

Participating classes: 7-9

Stages of project implementation: Every week, students in grades 7-9 of each Shanyrak learn, find the main idea and use at least 5 proverbs in everyday life. To prove this, a video clip is being released on the YouTube channel. Every month, the Shanyraks should discuss preparations for essay contests or other formats that take place every 2 months. When evaluating the final works of Shanyrakov at the end of the year, the results of this project will also be taken into account. The Parents Association also takes part in the project.
When implementing the project, students can place their proverbs on a special board at school. This in turn, contributes to the interest in finding students.

The purpose of the project: Involvement in the active life of the elderly, elderly lonely people in school life. Improving spiritual culture, fostering hard work, tolerance, mercy, respect for elders.
Formation of the continuity of the elderly and young generation in the promotion of national values ​​through the joint creative work of Shanyrak students.
Expected results:
Increasing the place and role of older people in society;
Promoting intergenerational continuity between older people and students;
Improving the emotional state of the elderly;
Increasing activity in daily life.
Through communication, older people feel the need for society, acquire the skills they need, teach students the art and have the opportunity to work in clubs as volunteers.
Schoolchildren help the elderly in every shanyrak. This, in turn, develops compassion and kindness in the student.
For example: cleaning the house, helping with the delivery of medicines, food, cleaning the yard.
Favorite destinations: Skillful Hands Club, Retro Club Disco 60-70s, Literary Jam, Yoga Therapy, Art Therapy, Computer Club, Law Club with the involvement of parents.

Creative project “Shabyt alany”

In order to identify, develop and support young talented performers, revive the best traditions, educate the artistic taste of young artists, foster patriotic feelings of the younger generation, on October 31, 2017, the creative project “Shabyt alany” was launched.

TASKS:

  • development of communication skills and abilities of schoolchildren;
  • development of creative activity and cognitive interests of students;
  • creating conditions for identifying gifted and talented students.

ACTUALITY OF THE PROJECT

The relevance of the project is that each student gets the opportunity to express their creative abilities, creates conditions for the involvement of all participants in the educational process, creative activity, and by means of additional education creates conditions for the development of skills necessary in the educational process.

Project “Kazakh songs”

The project “Kazakh Onderi” has existed at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Ust-Kamenogorsk since November 2014. The main goal of the project, aimed at popularizing the rich song heritage of the Kazakh people, is to increase the love of students for the art of singing, as well as to learn the history and authors of Kazakh songs that have existed for centuries. Recommended songs include folk songs and songs of Kazakhstani composers based on instilling all national, family and universal values.

Тasks:

  • improving the understanding and practice of the Kazakh language by students;
  • skills of research and project work through the study of the history of the Kazakh song;
  • development of Kazakhstani patriotism through national music and national traditions, the formation of students’ musical culture and spiritual and moral development.

Relevance of the project:

“Kazakh Onderi” calls on viewers of all ages to respect the traditions of their Motherland and revive the forgotten cultural heritage.

Since January 2012, the “TEDx NIS” club started working in Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. The project provides the development of students’ skills in scientific research, oratory, teamwork skills, and contributes the formation of respect for different views and opinions.

Nazarbayev Intellectual schools together with the public foundation WikiBilim organize TED clubs called the Club “TEDx NIS”. As part of the club’s work, students receive a unique opportunity to listen to 15-minute lectures presented by scientists and world-class inventors.

During the preparation of the reports in the TED format, the students acquire the basics of scientific research, skills of public speaking, improve their ability to focuse on the essence of the solving problems and to defend new ideas.

What is TEDx?

Since 1984 in California (USA) there was a conference that gathered scientists, politicians, businessmen, artists, musicians, engineers and many others on one stage. It was called TED – Technology, Entertainment, Design, which can be translated as “Science, Art, Culture”.

Conference slogan ˗ “Ideas worth spreading” explains its main task: to tell about interesting ideas to as many people as possible.
The organizers of the first TED were Richard Sol Wurmen and Harry Marks. On the first TED a Macintosh computer was shown – the world’s first compact disc of Sony. Mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot told about the applications of the theory of fractals he created, and the specialist in artificial intelligence Marvin Minsky – about a new model of the mind.

Today, the TED conference brings together leaders of contemporary thought and personalities who can tell about their ideas in 18 minutes. Among the people who spoke at various times on TED were Bill Gates, Al Gore, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabelle Allende and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Since 1990, the TED conference has been held annually. Currently, it is being held in Lang Beach, California, with a live broadcast to Palm Springs, and an annual TED Global conference in Oxford, UK. All performances are laid out in free access to the organization’s website. TED’s performances can also be watched via Facebook or Instagram.

Project  “Poets of the Great Steppe“

 

Aim of the project: Popularization of the diversity of classical poets and writers in the field of literature, the rich heritage left to the people, and their considerable work in poetry, literary works for the younger generation.

Expected result of the project:

Within the school project, students are given full information about the life and creativity of the famous poet and broaden the horizon of knowledge.
