I am glad to welcome you to the website of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the chemical-biological direction of Ust-Kamenogorsk! The information we bring to your attention here, reflects the features of our educational and pastoral programmes and other activities in our school community.
Our school opened on September 13, 2010. Since that time, our pedagogical team has been combining the best of international and Kazakh teaching and learning experiences and applying them to our work. At the center are our students – who have gained the educational grant “Orken”, and an excellent opportunity to develop their talents with us.
We work in 7 areas:
1. A modern management model;
2. An integrated educational program;
3. Teaching and learning;
4. Assessment of the quality of education;
5. Support for the professional development of teachers;
6. Search and training of gifted children;
7. Sharing and transferring our experiences in education to schools in the region.
Our school is an open platform for knowledge, innovation, research and critical thinking. Our Students successfully perform at various international and national olympiads, contests and competitions. Our graduates study in the best universities in Kazakhstan and overseas and we hope they will soon begin to bring real benefits to their homeland – Kazakhstan. After all, the mission of our school is the education of citizens who will contribute to the development of Kazakhstan and raise our country’s intellectual potential.
In 2017 the school has been successfully accredited by Council of International Schools (the Netherlands). The certificate confirms that the school provides education at a high level. Another significant event took place in the school`s life in 2017 – a new building with a dormitory block for 120 students was built for the school.
