Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools will organize a media marathon dedicated to the Day of Communications and Information Workers.

The NIS Ust-Kamenogorsk school was one of the first to start a large-scale event.

The director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Zhupat Oralovna Yerniyazova, congratulated the media representatives who gathered at the ceremony:

  • Dear journalists, I congratulate you on your professional holiday! It is always you, who inform us about the events in the world, experience other people’s happy and sad stories, get to know celebrities. You are our eyes and ears, mediators between the public and the people. We wish you as many interesting reports, creative success and inspiration as possible!

The school students presented a beautiful song to the hpnourable guests.

The second part of the event continued at several stations: “Dombyra-asyl mura” – a master class in dombra, “SoapArt” – a master class in soap making, “Zhangyrgan oner murasy” – a master class in felting and weaving kamcha.

Kuyi by A. Raiymbergenov “Sekirtpe” was performed in an unusual manner of playing the dombra. The journalists tried to master the technique of playing the instrument, and the teacher Aslan Baurzhan helped them in that. It was not easy to learn right away, both for those who hold the dombra in their hands for the first time, and for those who have little experience, but it was interesting for everyone. At the end of the master class, a mini-ensemble of journalists played a kyui “Erkem-ai”.

The citrus, coconut, and lavender odor spread from the soap station. Each “student” chose the aroma, pigment and shape they like. The finished product was labeled “Made in UKK NIS – Best Journalist”.

The guests continued their training at the station for weaving kamcha and felting. Dauletberdy Zhekeyuly shared the history of the kamcha creation and how to weave it. Weaving kamcha from leather was found appealing not only to men, but also to women: they wove a blank for kamcha from three and six stripes.

At the felt workshop, the master and his students created the painting “Steppe Flowers”. The correspondents of the “Khabar 24” channel formed the logo of the channel from felt and left it for the school as a keepsake.

At the end of the event, the media representatives were presented with letters of gratitude from the school principal for their contribution to the formation of a positive image of the NIS brand. There was also a coffee break organized for the guests.

– No one congratulated us on our professional holiday in such a format! Thank you very much for the festive mood today! – said Anel Bakytbekovna Yesenberdina, a correspondent of the Khabar 24 TV channel, to thank the school.
