The first bell of the 2019-2020 school year at Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Ust-Kamenogorsk was given by a student, teacher and parent. Thus, the school reinforced the desire to work in a close community.
The celebration of Knowledge Day was held in honor of teachers, who are the mainstay of the school and the standard of study for colleagues from secondary schools. Thanks to their knowledge and professionalism, instilling the love of knowledge for students at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Ust-Kamenogorsk for the second time showed the best result this year in external summative assessment of students among Nazarbayev Intellectual schools from all over the Republic! All teachers took part in the parade of teachers, including leaders of prize-winners of international and republican competitions, authors of textbooks and teaching aids, and foreign teachers. It was their common work that was highly appreciated by the Letter of Appreciation signed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askhat Aymagambetov.
For their noble and bright work, the best teachers were awarded with high prizes. Chemistry teacher Galina Gadjiyeva was awarded with the Y. Altynsarin medal in front of all the school community and guests, history teacher Mauliya Dauletkhanova and physics teacher Aydin Tusupzhanov became holders of the Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education.
The merits of the children who highly raised the honor of the school in the republican competitions this summer were also noted. The teams that won the online competition among NIS students in June of this year were named next to them.
Symbolically, the key of knowledge was transferred to students of grade 7. The guys who went through strict selection solemnly vowed to be patriots of their homeland, to study well and to comply with the internal rules.
The flash mob of the shanyraks was also interesting. The name of the association was inscribed on each standard. It was this performance that put the logical point in the celebration of the first bell.
– The school assembly was very interesting and dynamic. I really liked the composition dedicated to the upcoming important date – the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great Abay. And it was nice that the first bell this year was given by a student, teacher and father of the student. This proves that together we are a strong community of talented, creative and open people! – says Albina Turash from grade 10 “B”.
